Tuesday Tips- Rounds Without Counting

I hate counting my stitches in each round, particularly if I am working up a large piece. That can very quickly turn into 1000+ stitches! No one wants to count that many stitches and its very easy to lose your place.

I found that by just looking at the piece and making an increase in the first stitch of the previous increase I no longer need to count. The increases are clearly visible as 2 stitches in one space. As long as my first two rounds were made correctly, this ALWAYS works out correctly. This works for both continuous rounds and slip stitch rounds.

I'd love to know what's on your hook right now. If you have any questions or just want a fellow hooker to talk crochet with, I am always available! See you next week!
